Skeleton Technologies is looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer with the soul of a true team player with demonstrable experience but also sufficient training to understand the technical aspects of ultracapacitors and modules.

What you'd be working on?

• Embedded programming together with unit testing.
• Software features concept and flow diagram development.
• Maintenance of already existing code.
• Unified code platform development.
• Specification creation according to clients’ needs and maintenance of technical documentation.
• Communicate with component suppliers to find suitable solutions.
• Give input to other engineers regarding the component selection.
• Create documentation for our products and solutions.
• Design according to standards and best-known practices.
• Carry out testing of our products, if needed, together with external organizations.
• Supporting other software engineers with technical know-how and reviews.
• Defining internal best practices for high code reliability and reusability.
• Assuring software quality through ad hoc testing, unit tests, writing test specifications, and cooperating with software test engineers.
• Participating in problems root cause analysis.
• Keep yourself, and other members of the team updated about relevant standards and industry best practices.
• Cooperate closely with different departments within the company.
• Participate closely in product design.
• Support sales in custom projects and feasibility studies.
• Resolve any technical difficulties that may occur during development.

Requirements

• You are best at C programming.
• You have a degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
• You have at least 5 years of experience in programming embedded software.
• You have a basic understanding of energy storage solutions.
• You would like to coordinate software development across multiple teams.
• You are a good team player, but you also strive for individual results.
• Experience with Python or similar scripting languages would be a big plus.
