As a Senior Accountant, you'll be dealing with various exciting topics, while your main focus is on taking responsibility for 1-2 entities and delivering reliable and timely accounting. You'll also be responsible for reconciling account balances and bank statements, maintaining the general ledger, and preparing month-end close procedures.
Your key tasks shall be as follows,
- Arranging and managing day-to-day accounting in line with GAAP principles including tax reports preparation and payroll accounting.
- Produce error-free accounting reports and present their results.
- Analyze financial information and summarize financial status.
- Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems, processes, and procedures.
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
- Participate in the company's audit process, gathering information and providing it to auditors.
Requirements
We are sure you are the one if you can check the box for at least 75% of the following requirements:
- University degree in a field that supports working as an accountant.
- Experience working as an accountant, at least 3-5 years and preferably in the field of production.
- You are well familiar with IFRS, or there is a great desire to learn it.
- You know everything about tax returns and payroll processing.
- You can say with confidence that you work in Excel with playful ease.
- You are a team player in terms of personal qualities, but you are also happy to work independently.
- You are curious to learn new programs and applications to develop your talents further.
- Proficiency in English and Estonian is required to succeed in the role. But also, proficiency in German is preferred.
