Commodity Manager (m/f/x)

Skeleton Technologies is seeking an experienced Commodity Manager (m/f/x) to join our dynamic team. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where your insights will contribute directly to the success of the overall company!

Your tasks in the net zero journey:

  • To manage the commodities for direct materials and assure best in class total acquisition cost.
  • Continuously develop and maintain global commodity strategies to enable the future growth objectives of the company.
  • Responsible for negotiations, contract establishment and long term pricing strategies for the materials.
  • Own and maintain the budget within the defined area.
  • Identify procurement actions for the planned expansion and manage the commodities.
  • Contract terms and pricing negotiations with suppliers.
  • Market research in the area of responsibility with the aim of proactive initiation of cost-cutting actions.
  • Development and implementation of preventive, corrective, and granting improvement measures (risk management).

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role; experience with electronics and/or PCBA is preferred.
  • Degree in supply chain, engineering, finance or business administration with good overall knowledge of supply chain and/or procurement processes and best practices; APICS or similar certification is a plus
  • Relevant work experience in purchasing, SCM, and supplier management.
  • Background from manufacturing companies or automotive industry is preferred.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English; knowledge of German would be a plus.
