We want to bridge the gap between gaming and investing to make crypto accessible to each and every one.
Business Operations amp; Strategy is a cross-functional team working across the whole company including both strategy and operations. The team is a partner to the senior leadership at Blocktrade focusing on high-impact strategic projects and data analyses. This opening will specifically support our Growth amp; Partnerships team and has the potential to develop into a leadership position.
As Web3 Business Operations amp; Strategy Manager you will focus on (1) company strategy development around gamification and game integration; (2) project listings; (3) strategy and value management of our own exchange token; (4) sourcing and onboarding of web3 partnerships, and many more exciting projects.
- Structure complex and ambiguous strategic problems for the Blocktrade leadership team and lead our cross-company efforts by owning the execution
- Develop and maintain trusting relationships with stakeholders at all organizational levels
- Develop a deep understanding of our peer and competitor positioning as well as the emerging crypto landscape to inform your recommendations
- Define clear hypotheses to identify new opportunities, and build business cases and quantitative models that will inform and influence our strategy
- Partner with product leadership, using data and insight to define changes, design experiments, and implement those changes across our products
- Develop our KPI and goal-setting framework across the business and contribute to improving our capabilities by enhancing existing processes
Requirements
What we look for in you- Fluent in English (both written and verbal) plus one additional language
- Preferably based in Tallinn, Estonia but a remote-first setup is possible with the willingness to regularly travel to the Estonian hub
- University degree or or equivalent practical experience
- 3-5 years of experience at either a market-leading management consulting firm, in the financial sector (IB/VC/PE) or in a business strategy or operations role
- At least basic understanding of the crypto industry incl. trends, structure, players, regulation etc., deeper knowledge is a strong plus
- Additional experience working at a high growth startup or a Crypto-focused company is a plus but not a must-have
- Stellar project management skills with the ability to structure, scope, deliver and monitor projects in an unstructured environment with high uncertainty
- Ability to build great models (Excel, PowerBI etc.) and skills to visualize the findings in a management presentation (PowerPoint etc.). SQL experience is an advantage but not a must-have
- Outstanding executive-level verbal and written communication and presentation skills
- Passion for solving complex problems, and building scalable processes
- Comfort working in a high growth, constantly changing environment
- Ability to drive insights through strong communication and cross-functional collaboration
