As a Product Owner for Brainbase Assist, you’ll help define, execute, and deliver a product roadmap that adds great value to our customers. You’ll actively contribute to strategy and vision discussions, and drive efforts toward the company and product goals. The role is inherently cross-functional you’ll work closely with design, engineering, customer success, marketing, and sales to identify and pursue new business opportunities for Brainbase Assist.Responsibilities:
  • Manage multiple product module life cycles from inception through launch and support within the Brainbase Assist platform
  • Establish a shared vision for Brainbase Assist with the Director of Product across the company by building consensus on priorities leading to product execution
  • Write detailed, testable product requirements and documents
  • Determine and/or influence release strategy for complex, multi-part features
  • Develop a rich understanding of product modules you lead; serve as a resident expert
  • Define new use cases, features, and KPIs for Brainbase Assist
  • Communicate cross-functionally, involving stakeholders and decision-makers when appropriate
  • Help run sprints and hold Engineering counterparts accountable for delivery
  • Contribute to company, product line, and module-level strategy discussion
  • Drive prioritization and trade-off discussions
  • Inspire the team with product vision, and work closely with them to bring it to life
  • Integrate customer research and market analysis into product requirements to enhance user satisfaction
  • Analyze metrics that inform the success of the product
  • Maximize efficiency in a constantly evolving environment where the process is fluid and creative solutions are the norm
  • Align resources and communicate activity estimates and timelines
  • Communicate development, feature delivery status, and issues to management and stakeholders
  • Participate in technology/solution decisions with architecture and product teams for projects, ensuring that technical design, unit testing, deployment, and implementation requirements are properly documented
  • Proactively seek ways to reduce product-related costs and increase efficiencies
Job requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in a business or technical field
  • 5+ years of experience in product, program, or technology management
  • 3+ years experience managing a B2B SaaS application, platform, or other enterprise-grade product
  • Experience successfully managing products through the entire life cycle from inception to launch
  • Experience overseeing roadmap strategy and definition
  • Experience managing prioritization, delivering features, and negotiating tradeoffs of a product
  • Experience contributing to engineering, technical, and architectural strategy discussions as it relates to a product
  • Experience leading cross-functional, co-located, and remote teams to deliver products/product features
  • Familiarity with Agile practices (Scrum, Kanban)
  • Familiarity with roadmapping tools, such as Jira, Aha, and product board
  • Conversationally fluent in technical amp; engineering concepts, tools, and practices
  • Experience developing and launching products from 0-1; comfort with ambiguity
  • Self-directed with entrepreneurial drive
  • Proven ability to influence and lead others
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills; excellent interpersonal skills
  • Proven analytical and quantitative skills; fluent in developing assumptions and project business cases supported by hard data and metrics
