As a Chief Accountant your key tasks shall be as follows:
- Management of the Skeleton Technologies Group's accounting, including the preparation of the Group's consolidated IFRS report, interim reporting to owners, and conducting audits in cooperation with the audit company.
- Organization of daily accounting in the Estonian and German units of the group companies: control of payments and invoices, accounting of production and fixed assets, payroll accounting, submission of tax returns, etc.
- Coordinating the day-to-day work of accountants and setting professional goals, including team management according to the company's management models.
- Cooperation with the accounting service provider, setting targets for improvements and substantively developing cooperation.
- Development of systems and processes of the finance department across the Group companies.
- Advising the management of the Group's companies on accounting, financial reporting, and tax issues.
- Keeping abreast of developments in the field and applying best practices.
- Ensuring efficient and well-functioning work organization in the Accounting and Tax department.
- Performing all other tasks related to the field.
Requirements
We are sure you are the one if you can check the box for at least 75% of the following requirements:
- You have worked for at least 5 years as a chief accountant in a manufacturing company or as an auditor, incl. you have knowledge of IFRS and experience in implementing consolidation.
- You are familiar with IFRS and Estonian accounting and tax laws.
- Oriented in German GAAP or you have the readiness to acquire the knowledge necessary for the job.
- You have the ability and will to be successful with new ERP systems (knowing Epicor is a benefit).
- You are fluent in Estonian and English, proficiency in German is useful, but is not a prerequisite for applying.
- You are venturesome and are constantly looking for ways to contribute to the development of the company and increase its value of the company.
- You can be described as a good communicator and team player who is open to something new and looking for the best solutions.
- You have a well-thought-out and systematic approach, accurate and correct in details.
- Your desire to develop pushes you to constantly improve your knowledge and is therefore well acquainted with practices and developments in the field.
