Job Description
Skeleton Technologies is growing fast and we are hiring an experienced Regional Head of HRto lead the way for our teams based in Estonia. We are one of the leading cleantech companies in Europe, with customers ranging from German automotive manufacturers, leading grid, and industrial companies to the European Space Agency.
As the Head of HR in Estonia, you will lead and direct the routine functions of the Human Resources (HR) department including business planning, recruitment, administrating compensations, and enforcing company policies and practices. We have our module and systems development teams in Estonia, alongside finance, marketing and other functions, and we are looking to find hundreds of new joiners in the next few weeks. Your main challenge is to work with company leadership to efficiently scale up our talent level and help our people to grow internally.
Your main responsibilities include:
- Partnering with the leadership team to understand and execute the organization’s human resource and talent strategy particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning.
- Providing support and guidance to the HR team, management, and other staff when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise.
- Managing the talent acquisition process for local teams, which may include recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of qualified job applicants, particularly for managerial and professional roles; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
- Being on top of trends in compensation and benefits, which result in competitive base and incentive pay programs to ensure that the organization attracts and retains top talent.
- Maintaining compliance with the Estonian employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviewing policies and practices to maintain compliance.
Requirements
To succeed in this position, you'll need:
- Previous human resource management experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Thorough knowledge of Estonian employment-related laws and regulations.
- Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization’s HRIS and talent management systems.
- Preferable higher education in a related field.
