Talent Acquisition Specialist

• Coordinate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs
• Source potential candidates through online channels (e.g. social platforms and professional networks)
• Create simple but effective interview and selection procedures, including screening calls and in-person interviews
• Assess candidate information, including resumes and contact details
• Ensure effective and timely candidate communication
• Improve our hiring velocity, i.e Time to Hire without compromising quality
• Design job descriptions and interview questions that reflect each position’s requirements
• Support and train hiring managers to improve our hiring quality
• Lead employer branding initiatives (in cooperation with other teams)
• Keep quarterly and annual forecast of hiring needs up to date
• Foster long-term relationships with past applicants and potential candidates
• Own our hiring tools and manage sourcing channels

Requirements

• 3+ years of proven work experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist or similar role
• Familiarity with social media, resume databases and professional networks (e.g. Stack Overflow and Github)
• Hands-on experience with full-cycle recruiting using various interview techniques and evaluation methods
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• A keen understanding of the differences between various roles within organizations
