Software Tester

We need your testing skills to create solid solutions together with our proactive client. We aim to build meaningful software solutions and become more digital and much more automated along the way. We are building a new single and global transport management system for road transportation. The primary goal of the project is to introduce new standard processes that will improve operational productivity, visibility and profitability. Our close collaboration with the business unit, who are experienced road logistics professionals and are responsible for the integration of the new processes, makes us confident in our success.

You will be doing

• Analyze requirements and user stories
• Design and create test cases that will be implemented by automation engineer
• Work closely with product owners and developers to find and prevent issues early in the process
• Help automation test engineers in keeping implemented tests up to date and consult them
• Understand and maintain the existing regression test suite
• Plan and execution of testing activities
• Identify and report bugs
• Review work of your peers to improve overall test quality

Requirements

• Analytical skills and analytical approach to work
• Good understanding of software development cycles and corresponding testing processes
• Differentiate various test levels and types
• Great knowledge of test design techniques and experience in applying them (ISTQB CTFL or more)
• Be able to find gaps, ambiguities and conflicting criteria in requirements and communicate them with product owners and other stakeholders
• Ability to understand complex systems
• Troubleshooting skills to determine the root cause of unobvious issues and behaviors
• Can work independently with multiple tasks on hands, is able to prioritize them
• Has technical skills to solve hardware and software issues
• Familiar with common project and test management tools, like JIRA, TestRail or analogs
