Working hours: 5 AM -1 PM (Hawaii Time)
Compensation: $1,300
Job duties:
- Assist attorney in preparation of complex applications for immigration benefits with the US immigration service;
- Communicate with clients and/or third parties toward collection of information and documents necessary for the application;
- Thoroughly collect, analyze, sort and archive case documentation, including notices, receipts and evidentiary documents;
- Prepare legal forms;
- Analyze and select evidence to satisfy regulatory criteria for a chosen immigration benefit;
- Prepare engagement letters, draft legal memoranda, clients’ declarations, witness affidavits, etc. to satisfy regulatory criteria;
- Conduct Internet research to obtain facts and information necessary for the preparation of an application;
- Conduct legal research and study regulations and case law for legal memoranda;
- Work with the firm’s team members to coordinate the activities;
- Work with different office applications and case processing software: Adobe, Microsoft Office; CRM Docketwise (proprietary, will train), Asana, Calendly, Google Calendar, Dropbox, Zoom, etc.
